Alicia Keys Tells Tyra Banks
Today That Her New CD "As I

Discoveries About Herself
Kansas City Nov 26, 2007 -
Alicia Keys (born Alicia J.
Augello-Cook on January
25, 1980 is an American
R&B and soul singer,
songwriter, pianist, record
producer, actress, philanthropist, and  author
who has sold over twenty-five million records
worldwide and has won numerous awards,

Billboard Music Awards, and three American
Music Awards.

Today the Tyra Banks Show devoted the entire
hour to Alicia Keys who stated "I have always
been the kind of person who could never say
no to anyone in the business about this
business.  They'd say Alicia would you? or
Alicia could you? and of course I'd always says
yes, of course I can.   I found it really hard to
say NO to people in this business.  The title of
this album says take me as I am.  I am no
longer that person now. I have discovered alot
of things about myself.  Beauty and
acceptance that was once external for me has
come full circle -- and I now know that it is
what is inside of me that really counts --take
me as I am is the appropriate title for this CD."
